During the week, the lyrics for this week’s entries and one minute song snippets have been released ahead of Saturday night’s Semi Final. The acts taking part in Semi Final 1 are:

Also this week, the stage design for this year’s Contest has been revealed and it’s the biggest stage yet!

Instead of an LED backdrop, a cloth backdrop will be used where state-of-the-art projectors can be used to beam various animations on to the cloth. LED pillars will still form part of the stage set. The backdrop measures 35×6 metres, allowing for 220 metres squared of animations. Viktor Brattström is responsible for the stage design.
