For the first time in 31 years, the Final of Melodi Grand Prix will be held outside of Oslo. Next year, the show will be coming from the city of Trondheim.
Stig Karlsen, the Head of Delegation and MGP Producer, had the following to say:
“We are excited to take the national final to Trondheim next year. We hope the people of Trondheim are ready to create a massive celebration for everyone, near the middle of our sprawling country.”
The five Semi Finals will take part at the H3 Arena in Forenbu, on the outskirts of Oslo.
