Yesterday, the Junior Eurovision Song Contest Press Conference was held at the Tel Aviv Expo. Present at the Press Conference were Gert Kark (EBU Project Manager), Konrad Smuga (TVP Creative Director), Marta Piekarska (TVP Project Coordinator) and Roksana Wegiel, the Winner of last year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest.

This year’s slogan is “Share The Joy”. This can be explained through the Contest’s logo – a brightly coloured Kite. The Kite is suppose to symbolise Freedom, Lightness and Happy Moments.

In regards to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, Jon Ola Sand had the following to say:

“The Junior Eurovision Song Contest is an incredible showcase of brand new talent, giving young people the chance to perform on a world stage. TVP share our vision to nurture this talent and create an incredible television event. We can’t wait to work with them to bring the slogan ‘Share the Joy’ to life.” 

This year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be held in the Gliwice Arena on Sunday 24th November.
