Denmark, one of the original participants at the inaugural Eurovision Choir in Riga, has been added to the participation list for Gothenburg. DR were in talks with the European Broadcasting Union following the release of the original participation list.

Catalonia’s TV3 could still appear as a possible debutant in Gothenburg. The European Broadcasting Union said:

“Although the list of participants of the Eurovision Choir of the Year 2019 has already been published. If a non-member station of the organization expresses its interest in joining this show, we will consider its entry taking into account the pre-established production deadlines.”
