Vietnam have confirmed their participation at the inaugural ABU Song Contest next year with details of their National Final – Sao Mai.

Auditions for participants hoping to represent their nation will be held throughout January, all over Vietnam. The 15 chosen finalists will take to the stage during the live finals of Sao Mai – to take place during March and April.

Sao Mai (Morning Star) launched in 1997 and is held every two years. The competition is broadcast on VTV6.
