Next year’s edition of Eurovision Young Dancers has been cancelled – the third time in the Contest’s history after 2007 and 2009. This is due to no broadcasters being interested in hosting the event.
The last edition was close to being cancelled until Ceska Televize stepped in after PBS of Malta withdrew from hosting duties in 2017. Poland, the 2017 champions and Malta were the only two countries to have confirmed participation to date.
