Could we be seeing a return of Azerbaijan to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest? Well this is something Ivan Eismont, the Director General of BTRC has revealed. He stated:

“Azerbaijan has not been there for a long time, they really want to come.”

Azerbaijan debuted in the Contest in 2012 and withdrew after participating in 2013.

Ivan Eismont has also revealed through Belarusian media, that fifteen countries have officially confirmed their participation to BTRC so far. While we know fourteen of the fifteen countries, could Azerbaijan be the fifteenth or have Albania or Australia signed up and not yet made an announcement?
