
Yesterday, Teddy Johnson passed away at the age of 98. Teddy Johnson represented the United Kingdom alongside his wife, Pearl Carr, back in 1959 with ‘Sing Little Birdie’. They finished 2nd in Cannes.

Teddy met Pearl in 1950 and continued as a double act well into the 1980’s. They both took to the stage in the musical ‘Follies’ in 1987, before retiring in 1990. Teddy and Pearl celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary back in 2015.
