We have a winner of ‘Sanremo 2016’

If you were watching from tonight (and all week)then you will see that we were in for a tricolour of Italian music from The Teatro Ariston in San Remo. The Top3 classified after the first votes were in were STADIO, GIOVANNI CACCAMO & DEBORAH LURATO and FRANCESCA MICHIELIN. After the voting results came in it was decided that  STADIO with the song ‘Un giorno mi dirai’ was the winner of San Remo 2016 and therefore earned the right to represent Italy at Eurovision in Stockholm. We now await to hear whether Stadio will choose to go to Stockholm with the song ‘Un giorno mi dirai’.

Is this the year that Italy wins the contest for a 3rd time? Will Italy win in Sweden for the first time since their return to the contest as part of the Big 5?  How do you rate the song if it is decided it will go? Do you think this is the right song and singer for Italy? Let us know.
