Globen is the stage and ‘country versus country’ is the game!

Well it sounds like something from a Rocky (or now known as Creed) movie tagline!

The reality is that it couldn’t be further from the truth than Australia being in Europe just off the west coast of Ireland!

Friday March 4th sees Johnson (Eurovision 1998) and Carrie Underwood (Global Country Star) take to this year’s Eurovision setting for what we guess will be a country style show down.

Johnson placed 10th at Eurovision 1998 with the song ‘Kärleken är’.

Country music is growing in Europe and The Common Linnets showed how the genre could almost take the title. Will country ever with the contest?
