Austria : Is Christian Wehrschütz going to present the 2015 Eurovision song contest in Vienna? That is the news that is being reported today on the website dietagespresse.com

Yesterday Wehrschütz was awarded Journalist of the Year for his correspondence work in the Ukraine for ORF (Austrian National Broadcaster)

Speaking to dietagespresse.com of Eurovision he said

For Wehrschütz so is obviously a dream come true: “I considered the hosting of such an event as an option with appeal,” he added, as he briefly hinted at a smile with the side of the mouth.

We have checked the official ORF website and they have not commented on the story as of yet. Might he be doing the tv commentary for ORF in order to make way for other presenters to be released to host the contest?

We will await official word from ORF however the story is trending on Twitter in Austria as we speak.

This could be a hoax story coming through though the press in Austria have jumped all over it. We will keep you posted.
