Switzerland – Watch LIVE from Zürich as the remaining 18 songs for Eurovision 2015 are performed live today at 13:10 CET
18 singers/songs take to the stage to perform for an expert panel of judges of which 6 will qualify for the Grand Final of Die Große Entscheidungsshow – the Swiss Eurovision 2015 selection.
The judges today are scoring the acts on 3 competencies – vocal ability, stage presence and competency as a live performer.
Of the 6 qualifying songs three will come from the SRF/RTR selection, two from the RTS selection and one from the RSI selection.
The ‘Expert Check’ will be hosted by Clarissa Tami and you can watch LIVE HERE at 13:10 CET
Who do you think will make the Final 6? Is there a Eurovision winner there?
Bubble Beatz feat. Sandra Wild aus Bernhardzell were first up and they threw everything and the kitchen sink – literally at the performance.
Simon Hafner sings “There Was A Yesterday” – He went all ‘Les Miserables’ on us and his voice went into hiding like Jean Valjean for 2 lines of the song #oops
San Dii mit ihrem Lied “iMagination” – Peek-a-Boo
Anach Cuan and their Song “Hurdy Gurdy Girls” – They are the love child of Sebalter and James Cordon #LikeThisOne
Celia with “Letter to Myself” – This is Lauren Platt and Fleur East from X-Factor done Swiss Eurovision style!
Alenko and the song “Vu d’en haut” – Nicki French and ‘Don’t Play That Song Again’ for the UK in 2000 did these hand movements and better #JustSaying
Licia Chery and the song “Fly” – Can we just stop the show now as we have found the winner #LoveHer and the audience were crying out “encore”
Melanie Rene – “My Time To Shine“. Game on as this is another good song. The Pan Pipes never sounded this good.
Shana Pearson and “Kevlar Heart” – Well this picture says it all. She killed the dancer!
Vad Vuc and their song “Cocktail e fantasmi” – This is more Irish than the Irish! I think the Swiss will like this song a lot and with good reason.
Elias feat. Zero and the song “Your Perfume” – Is this more Tom Ford or Old Spice? You decide. Either way loving the Beehives ladies!
Deborah Bough singing “Take me back to 23” – Va Va Voom. Game on! Deborah brings some Swiss Funk into the house and the audience loved it too.
Arbresha singing “Same Stars” – Two words for this “Sultry & Moody” which is what I think I am after a few “Valetta Libre Cocktails”
Dahi and her song “Destiny” – Sometimes “Less is More” #JustSaying
Timebelle and their song “Singing about Love” – catchy little song from a Romanian band. It has those Eurovision classics – The Saxophone and The Accordion. From a style perspective they need to be careful as Barbara Dex wants her fashion award BACK!
Andy McSean and the song “Hey Now” – Sebalter has a lot to answer for as there are 3 other bands trying to rock their versions of “Hunter of Stars” though this is more rock. A competent performance but nobody likes to called competent at Eurovision! However we like the guitarist.
Tiziani sings “Only Human” – The Swiss are saving the big guns till last. Tiziani is 17 and won The Voice of Switzerland 2014. Cute song from the ‘Girl Next Door’ that teenagers across Europe will identify with. Watch out for this one! You have been warned! This could be Switzerland having their Chiara moment at Eurovision. Give us the wink!
Dr Thiery Condor and the song “Open Heart Surgery” – Well TLC sang “No Scrubs” and Dr Thiery and band should have listened to the song. This is Eurovision and nobody should turn up in operating scrubs! I will need “Open Heart Surgery” if they wear this in the final. This is a cute song and just what the Doctor ordered but “No Scrubs”.
The 6 finalists for the Swiss national selection will be announced tomorrow evening!
