We have good and bad news for you. Softengine were our favourite band at this year’s Eurovision song contest. We just couldn’t find ‘Something Better’ than them when it came to groups at the contest this year.

The band has announced three pieces of news for their fans.

Firstly the band’s début album will be released on October 17th. We shall be the first to download it as we still have a ‘man crush’ on the guys. There will be 11 tracks on the album including their Eurovision hit ‘Something Better’ and their follow-up song ‘Yellow House’.

Secondly they will be starting a tour to promote the new album – see HERE

Finally it is regrettable to say that Eero is leaving the band to be able to concentrate on his career as a lighting technician. Eero played bass in the band. We wish him the best of luck in his new endeavours.

We will still be flying our Finnish flag for Softengine and look forward to their new album.
