Dorians had the first rehearsal of their Eurovision 2013 song Lonely Planet. Dorians are a 5 piece band consisting of a lead singer, 2 guitarists, a keyboard player and a drummer. They are on stage clad in various denim outfits. What I like about this group is that they are on stage as a band and performing like they would at any other gig.
There are no shiny suits, no gimmicks just 5 guys playing their kinda music on stage for Eurovision. The backdrop is a lilac colour with yellow spot lights shining from it. Some dry ice billows from the floor but is not overpowering. There are pyros towards the end of the song and some fire spurts as the song comes to a close.
Gor Sujyan, the lead vocalist is a real commanding figure and great singer. You can tell they are all at ease with each other and the song is alright. It doesn’t smack me in the face and say brilliant but the chorus has a great hook which sticks in your head.
Armenia’s favourite rock band Dorians have done a decent job with this song.

This sounds like it has non qualifier written all over it and unless they waken themselves up and present their song in the vein it should be then quiet frankly it deserves to flop. Disappointing return from Armenia.
