
GPB, the Georgian national broadcaster, have postponed the commencement of Ranina 2026 again – their national selection for the 2026 Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
ORIGINALLY due to commence last Saturday (March 21st) and then postponed to this evening, Ranina 2026 will finally commence next Saturday (April 4th). Ranina 2026 will revert back to one show a week, which was last seen in 2024 and will be broadcast at 18:00 GMT/19:00 CET.
Each Gala will feature five of the ten artists. The Semi Final will feature five artists, while the Grand Final will feature three artists. The timeline for this year’s Ranina, is as follows:
- First Themed Week (Galas 1 & 2) – April 4th & 11th
- Second Themed Week (Galas 3 & 4) – April 18th & 25th
- Third Themed Week (Galas 5 & 6) – May 2nd & 9th
- Fourth Themed Week (Galas 7 & 8) – May 16th (ESC26 Grand Final Night) & 23rd
- Semi Final – May 30th
- Grand Final – June 6th
