Eurovision can be full of Venn diagrams. Who are Swedish and winners, for example. Or who are German and have finished at the other end of the table. But a more interesting Venn diagram is duos who have performed more than once.

In this Venn diagram you could find the duo that are Hot Eyes. Three times they tried in the 1980s, and their performances are always interesting to watch. The male half of Hot Eyes is today’s birthday boy Søren Bundgaard. A musician through and through, he’s a songwriter as well as a singer. Of Hot Eyes’ three tries, we’ve gone for the middle one here. Not only was it Søren with the legendary Kirsten Sigaard, he even roped his daughter into proceedings. The other songs may have finished third and fourth, but this one is just as fun.
