#ESTONIA: And the winner is…

Estonia’s broadcaster ERR has concluded Eesti Laul 2026 – the programme to select a song for the Eurovision Song Contest in May. Twelve songs competed, with three making the super final. The super final voting was very close, with the three songs achieving 35%, 34% and 31%.

But the act and song going forward to Vienna is

Vanilla Ninja – Too epic to be true

As we know, Estonian band Vanilla Ninja represented Switzerland in the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv, finishing eighth in the Grand Final. The song’s writer is Sven Lõhmus, who has been involved in Eurolaul and Eesti Laul on and off since 1998. This is his fifth song to make it through to the Eurovision Song Contest. Too epic to be true will perform in the second half of the first semi-final, on 12 May 2026.
