ORF, the Austrian national broadcaster, have confirmed their non-participation at the 2026 Junior Eurovision Song Contest.

ORF confirmed this news to Eurofestivales. Back in December 2024, the Press Department of ORF, had the following to say in regards to the 2025 Contest:

“As in previous years, ORF has no plans to participate in the Junior Eurovision next year.”
