AVROTROS, the Dutch national broadcaster, have revealed the timeline of Junior Songfestival 2026 – their national selection for the 2026 Junior Eurovision Song Contest.

The different stages of Junior Songfestival 2026 have been outlined. They are:

• January 25th: Applications close
• February 13th: Applicants will find out if they have made it through to the next stage
• February 16th, 17th & 21st: Auditions will be held without cameras and acts through to the next phase of auditions will be contacted
• March 7th & 8th: In-person auditions, which will be filmed, will be held. On one day, the applicants will take part in dancing and one day of singing
• March 22nd: Final round of auditions will take to select the singers going through to the Junior Songfestival 2026 final
