
SWR, the German regional broadcaster, has revealed the format for ‘Eurovision Song Contest – Das Deutsche Finale 2026‘ – their national selection for the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest, in Vienna.
The format for ‘Eurovision Song Contest – Das Deutsche Finale 2026‘ is as follows:
- Phase One: All nine of the artists will perform their entry and an international jury, formed of 20 members, from 20 countries competing in the Eurovision Song Contest, will vote and from their votes, the top three will progress to the next phase
- Phase Two: The German public will be invited to vote for the act they want to see represent Germany at the 70th Eurovision Song Contest
