
The EBU, the European Broadcasting Union, have confirmed the fate of two previously held Contests.
The EBU have revealed that there is no plans for a return of either Eurovision Choir (last held in 2019) or Eurovision Young Dancers (last held in 2017). The EBU will instead focus on the Eurovision Song Contest, Junior Eurovision Song Contest and Eurovision Young Musicians. Speaking to Eurofestivales, the EBU had the following to say:
“There are no plans to bring these formats (referring to Eurovision Choir and Eurovision Young Dancers) back to the screen at the moment.”
