The EBU, the European Broadcasting Union, have confirmed the number of participants allowed for the 2026 Eurovision Young Musicians, in Yerevan.
According to the EBU, the current participation limit will remain the same as in the 2024 edition – 10 participating broadcasters, alongside the host broadcaster. Amelie Rossignol, the EBU’s official representative for the Eurovision Young Musicians project, had the following to say:
“The limit on participating countries for the 2026 edition is subject to the programme’s single-final format and should ideally remain at a maximum of 11 countries to maintain the presentation schedule and the event’s duration.”
