TRM, the Moldovan national broadcaster, have announced discussions are taking place ahead of any potential return to the Eurovision Song Contest.
Yesterday in Chisinau, TRM held discussions with Moldovan artists and producers regarding a potential return to the Eurovision Song Contest – including both concerns and challenges. The discussion focused on:
- The format of a national selection
- Potential changes to the rules
- Promotion strategies
- Support measures for participants
TRM are currently undecided whether they will be participating at the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest, in Vienna. TRM withdrew from the 2025 Contest during the National Final season, however they did broadcast the Contest live.
