Before the international jury voting at the 2025 Intervision Song Contest, in Moscow took place, the host country of the 2026 Intervision Song Contest was revealed.

In what was declared as one final surprise by the hosts of the 2025 Intervision Song Contest, it was revealed that Saudi Arabia would be hosting the 2026 edition. Originally, the winner of the 2025 Intervision Song Contest was due to host the 2026 edition. Details on the host city, venue and participating countries, will be announced in the coming months.
