🇲🇳 #ASIA: ABU TV Song Festival Rebrands As ABU Song Festival; 10 Countries Participating In 2025

MNB, the Mongolian national broadcaster & the ABU, the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union, have announced the ten participating countries for the rebranded 2025 ABU Song Festival, in Ulaanbaatar.

The 2025 ABU TV Song Festival has been rebranded as the 2025 ABU Song Festival, FOLLOWING discussions in 2024 to include ABU radio members, following the end of the ABU Radio Song Festival in 2019. The ten participating countries in the 2025 ABU Song Festival, are:

  • Bhutan (BBS) – Pema Samdrup – “The song of you”
  • Hong Kong (TVB) – Huang Bo – “A Kind of Perseverance”
  • India (DD) – Savani Ravindra Ghangurde – “Rang De
  • Japan (NHK) – Ms.OOJA – “Be…
  • Macau (TDM) – Elisa Chan – “Eat or Sleep
  • Malaysia (RTM) – Nadeera – “Bukan Lagi Kita
  • Mongolia (MNB) – The HU – “Wolf Totem
  • South Korea (KBS) – Kwon Eun Bi – “Underwater
  • Turkey (TRT) – Orhan Çakmak – “Türkiyem
  • Turkmenistan (TVTM) – Rustem Hallyyev – “Bady Sabany görýärin”

Vietnam had originally PLANNED to participate. Thanh Thuy was chosen to represent the Vietnamese after winning ‘Điểm hẹn tài năng’ at the end of June.
