BBS, the Bhutanese national broadcaster, have revealed that Eurovision Asia will take place in Mumbai, January 2026. The host city has changed from the initial choice of Bangkok and will feature 18 countries.

The Bhutanese national broadcaster, BBS, started their national selection for the Contest, back in May.

Vietnamese national broadcaster, HTV 7, has scheduled a programme “Eurovision Asia”, for 13:30 BST/14:30 CEST this Sunday, August 31st. It is unclear whether or not if this is the start of a national selection.

The EBU, the European Broadcasting Union, have yet to confirm the news revealed by BBS, about Eurovision Asia been held in Mumbai, in January 2026.
