🇮🇪 #JESC25: Slight Format Change For Junior Eurovision Éire

TG4, the Irish national broadcaster, have announced a slight format change for Junior Eurovision Éire 2025 – their national selection for the 2025 Junior Eurovision Song Contest.

While the format of the audition show, followed by several knock-out rounds remain in place, there has been a change announced for the final. In the final, there have been changes compared to the 2024 contest. The three singers will perform two covers. In the super final, instead of performing the song for Junior Eurovision, the two finalists will perform one of their covers again. The jury will then select the singer who will represent Ireland in Tbilisi.

Therefore, there will be no public vote to select the Irish representative and the song they will perform will not be revealed until after Junior Eurovision Éire 2025 has concluded.
