
İctimai TV, the Azerbaijani national broadcaster, have confirmed their participation at the 2025 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Tbilisi.
After a three year absence from the competition, İctimai TV is returning to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. İctimai TV have launched the application period and will remain open until Sunday 31st August. Applicants must be aged between 9 & 14 year’s old and must submit a video of themselves singing two songs – one in Azerbaijani and one in a foreign language. All videos must be sent via WhatsApp to +994 55 205 31 23.
Furthermore, İctimai TV have also contacted the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan to submit a list of singers who have participated in international contests and festivals. Singers from this list may be directly invited to participate.
Following the conclusion of the application period, a further round of auditions will take place with a number of the applicants. A jury will assess them on stage performance, vocal abilities and charisma. One applicant will then be chosen to represent Azerbaijan in Tbilisi.
