RTS, the Serbian national broadcaster, have confirmed their continued non-participation at the 2025 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Tbilisi.
After the announcements of both Croatia & Montenegro returning for the 2025 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, it was hoped that Serbia would follow. However due to continued financial restraints, Serbia will not be returning. Sandra Perović, Head of Entertainment Programming for RTS, had the following to say:
“Regarding the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, we will unfortunately not participate for financial reasons.”
