🇱🇹 #JESC25: Lithuania Confirm Non-Participation; Broadcast To Continue

LRT, the Lithuanian national broadcaster, have confirmed their continued non-participation at the 2025 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Tbilisi.

FOLLOWING their initial confirmation of non-participation, LRT raised the POSSIBILITY of a return to the 2025 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, following a consultation of Lithuanian children. Aistė Jurė, Head of LRT’s Television’s children’s and youth department confirmed the continuation of non-participation within the Contest.

According to LRT, participation in the Contest involves high costs, which they can only afford if it is sure that Lithuanian viewers are fully interested in the competition. Interest will continue to be monitored, following the live broadcast of the 2025 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, from Tbilisi.
