
NDR, the German national broadcaster and BNNVARA, the Dutch national broadcaster, are COLLABORATING on a new entertainment series titled ‘Eurovision Murder Mystery’.
Nordmedia have awarded the broadcasters a grant of €90,000, to develop the programme further. Over six episodes, each lasting 52 minutes, the plot has also been revealed. DWDL reports that the plot is:
“At the Eurovision Song Contest in Montreux, German favorite Lea Lippmann is found dead in Lake Geneva. Suspended police officer Manuela Wagner, the eccentric French Eurovision contestant Sable, the overzealous police officer Solas, and the Eurovision-enthusiastic Swiss investigator Moser form an unwitting team to solve the case. With each appearance, another secret could be revealed; with each performance, the showdown draws closer.”
