
The 22nd International Festival of Language & Culture took place over last weekend in Geseke/Eringerfeld, Germany. As part of the festival, the ‘Colors of Voices’ Song Contest and Turkish Song Contest were held.
On Friday 27th June, the Colors of Voices Song Contest took place. Papua New Guinea took victory with Nathaniel Aposlo Kandakasi and his entry “Beat It”. Germany took 2nd place, while Indonesia/USA took 3rd place. The performance of “Beat It” can be seen here:
On Saturday 28th June, the Colors of Voices Turkish Song Contest took place. Albania took victory with Elisa Skarra and her entry “Vur Yüreğim”. Moldova took 2nd place, while Tanzania/Kosovo took 3rd place. The performance of “Vur Yüreğim” can be seen here:
