The EBU, the European Broadcasting Union, will not sanction the Spanish national broadcaster, following their pro-Palestine message before the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest final.

Following the second Semi Final, RTVE received a warning after Julia Varela & Tony Aguilar said the following:

“A call for peace , justice and respect for Human Rights , in line with the integrative and peaceful vocation of the Eurovision Song Contest.”

RTVE broadcast a pro-Palestine message ahead of the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest final, which can be seen below – however the EBU will not sanction RTVE.
