Saturday 18th May 2019
On this day in 2019, the 64th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest took place in Tel Aviv, Israel. The Netherlands took victory with Duncan Laurence performing “Arcade” and 498 points.
Saturday 18th May 2013
On this day in 2013, the 58th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest took place in Malmö, Sweden. Denmark took victory with Emmelie de Forest performing “Only Teardrops” and 281 points.
Saturday 18th May 1996
On this day in 1996, the 41st edition of the Eurovision Song Contest took place in Oslo, Norway. Estonia, Finland, the Netherlands, Slovakia & Switzerland all returned, while Denmark, Germany, Hungary, Israel & Russia all withdrew from the Contest. Ireland took victory with Eimear Quinn performing “The Voice” and 162 points.
