SRG SSR, the Swiss national broadcaster, along with the EBU, the European Broadcasting Union, have revealed the new Semi Final Qualifier Announcement format ahead of the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest, in Basel.

In a split screen for viewers, three countries will be shown at a time, with one of them announced as qualifying. After this has taken place nine times, the final qualifier will be announced by the hosts. The new format will be trialled during the First Dress Rehearsal for Semi Final One, this afternoon.
