
This year at the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest, in Basel, Ireland will be marking 60 years since their first participation. Today we continue with 2009.
2009 – “Et Cetera”
In 2009, when the Contest was held in Moscow, Russia, Sinéad Mulvey & Black Daisy represented Ireland with “Et Cetera”. Sinéad finished in 11th (Semi NQ) place and 52 points.
2010 – “It’s for You”
In 2010, when the Contest was held in Oslo, Norway, Niamh Kavanagh represented Ireland with “It’s for You”. Niamh finished in 23rd place and 25 points.
2011 – “Lipstick”
In 2011, when the Contest was held in Dusseldorf, Germany, Jedward represented Ireland with “Lipstick”. Jedward finished in 8th place and 119 points.
2012 – “Waterline”
In 2012, when the Contest was held in Baku, Azerbaijan, Jedward represented Ireland with “Waterline”. Jedward finished in 19th place and 46 points.
2013 – “Only Love Survives”
In 2013, when the Contest was held in Malmo, Sweden, Ryan Dolan represented Ireland with “Only Love Survives”. Ryan finished in 26th place and 5 points.
2014 – “Heartbeat”
In 2014, when the Contest was held in Copenhagen, Denmark, Can-linn feat. Kasey Smith represented Ireland with “Heartbeat”. Can-linn finished in 12th (Semi NQ) place and 35 points.
