
SVT, the Swedish national broadcaster, have announced their commentary team, for the forthcoming 2025 Eurovision Song Contest, in Basel.
Edward af Sillén will be returning for his fourteenth appearance as commentator since 2009 (only missing 2013 & 2016, due to been on the Contest team) and will commentate on all three shows. Joining Edward for the Grand Final will be Petra Mede, who will be making her commentating debut in Basel. Following the news, Petra Mede had the following to say:
“This is the first time I have had the honour of commentating on the Eurovision Song Contest, but thankfully it is not the first time I have had the honour of working with Edward. The former makes me excited and excited, the latter makes me feel safe and overjoyed.”
