
S4C, the Welsh national broadcaster, have announced the artists & songs for Cân i Gymru 2025 – their national selection for the Pan Celtic Song Contest 2025.
The artists that will be competing in Cân i Gymru 2025 have been revealed, with the songs already receiving radio plays on BBC Radio Cymru. The eight finalists are:
- Dros Dro – “Troseddwr yr Awr” (Criminal of the Hour)
- Lewys Meredydd – “Am Byth” (Forever)
- Catrin Angharad Jones – “Torra Dy Gwys” (Cut Your Summons)
- Garry Owen Hughes – “Gwydr Hanner Llawn” (Glass Half Full)
- Heledd & Mared Girffiths – “Mae’r Amser Wedi Dod” (The Time Has Come)
- Gwen Edwards – “Lluniau Ar Fy Stryd” (Pictures On My Street)
- Geth Vaughan – “Hapus” (Happy)
- Marc Skone – “Duwedd y Byd” (The End of the World)
