RTV Drenthe, the Dutch regional broadcaster, have announced ‘Songfestival Drenthe, Pop in ‘t plat’ – their new selection for the 2025 Regio Songfestival.

‘Songfestival Drenthe, Pop in ‘t plat’ will REPLACE Drèents Liedtiesfestival as the Drenthe selection for the Regio Songfestival. It has yet to be revealed whether or not ‘Songfestival Drenthe, Pop in ‘t plat’ will be used as a selection process for SUNS Europe too.

‘Songfestival Drenthe, Pop in ‘t plat’ will not be open to everybody, as upto ten artists will be invited to participate. The final of ‘Songfestival Drenthe, Pop in ‘t plat’ will take place on Saturday 7th June, at the RTV Drenthe studios.
