Head õhtut Europe and welcome to Eesti Laul 2025 Live Blog!
Today, from 18:15 CET we have a front seat for the Estonian National Selection for Eurovision 2025. My name is Bogdan and I will be your host behind the screen, giving you my opinion on what’s happening in Tallinn .
16 acts will compete tonight for the chance to represent Estonia in Basel this May.
The winner of the Eesti Laul competition will be determined through a two-stage voting process. Initially, both a jury panel and the public will cast their votes for the 16 participants. Following this round, the top three contenders will be announced, and a second round of voting will commence. 19:36 Our hosts for tonight Ines and Korea.

19:34 And we are back!
19:01 Who was your favourite? For me, the top 3 should be Andrei Zevakin feat. Karita,Frants Tikerpuu and Tommy Cash. For now, we have a 30 minute break but we will be right back.
18:57 Now, the power rests in the hands of the jury and the public. (We can see the recap of all the contestants in the meantime)
18:55 Time for the last contestant of the night. Marta Lotta – Tantsin Veel: Marta Lotta, who gained popularity through various TV projects and Eesti otsib superstaari, earned her spot in Eesti Laul through a public vote. Marta ends tonight’s final with a disco offering, good vocals and a good connection with the audience back home; she surely knows how to work with the camera.

18:51 Song number 15 and one of the favourites to win tonigh. Tommy Cash – Espresso Macchiato: Internationally acclaimed artist Tommy Cash, known for his bold visuals and sounds, brings his unique style to Eesti Laul. We were expecting an avant-garde performance and we weren’t disappointed. Security guards dancing charleston, quirky moves and a high level of entertainment – Need I say more? The audience loved it.

18:44 Song number 14. Andrei Zevakin feat. Karita – Ma Ei Tea Sing: Popular YouTuber and music producer Andrei Zevakin teams up with influencer Karita for her first time on the big stage. This is a catchy, contemporary pop – rock collaboration and the audience seems to love it. We have fire, charisma and lots of energy; what’s not to like?

18:38 Minimal Wind – Armageddon: Minimal Wind, who impressed at Eesti Laul 2022, returns with their blend of R&B, pop, indie rock, and darker musical genres. The song has a slow tempo and the lead singer has chosen to blend with the audience for the first part of the performance.

18:34 Tuuli Rand – REM: Tuuli Rand, a vibrant singer-songwriter known for her unique vocals and dynamic stage presence. Tuuli is serving a slow tempo song, dressed as well in golden and black. I am not sure if that was strong enough to get the support from the pulblic.

18:27 Anna Sahlene – Love Me Low: Anna Sahlene, who represented Estonia at Eurovision in 2002, returns to Eesti Laul with her blend of soul, pop, blues, and glamour. Dressed up in golden and black, Anna exudes positive and good energy. Interesting fact, Anna revealed she was part of the cast of Squid Game, trying to have a sing-along moment, but the producers didn’t allow it.

18:21 Frants Tikerpuu – Trouble: Experienced singer-songwriter, producer, and pianist Frants Tikerpuu returns to Eesti Laul, having honed his vocal skills over the past two years. This is a contemporary pop song with gospel-anthemic rhythm – the results? It makes the audiece clap along, which is always a positive sign.

18:16 An-Marlen – Külm: Rising star An-Marlen, known for her angelic voice, blends Estonian drum n’ bass, modern dance music, and R&B influences. An-Marlen is alone on the stage and relies on a good connection with the camera, plenty of armography and laser lights.

18:09 Song number 8 gem98 – Psycho: Eesti Laul newcomer gem98, a literature teacher with musical theatre experience, is ready to share his unique musical style. The song has a theatrical, dramatic flair and that was definitely a performance full of lights and sounds suitable for a psycho element.

18:03 ELYSA – The Last to Know: A veteran of Eesti Laul, ELYSA returns for a fourth time, bringing her experience from numerous performances and television appearances. This is a pop song with a strong vocal performance and I can’t help to think of Carola and Invicible.

17:58 FELIN – Solo Anthem: FELIN, the alter-ego of Elin Blom Etoall, a seasoned musician, songwriter, and producer, brings her international experience to Eesti Laul. The song is an indie pop anthem and the singer knows how to work with the camera.
