🇨🇭 #ESC25: Contest Organisers Reveal Mascot Competition

SRG SSR, the Swiss national broadcaster, have revealed one of their community initiatives, ahead of the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest, in Basel.

The 2025 Eurovision Song Contest will feature a Mascot – a Mascot has featured on only three previous occasions (1990 Eurocat, 1992 Eurobird & 2022 Leo, a drone). Over 1,000 students are able to put forward their proposals until the end of January.

For children, Basel will also use this community initiative to look at creating a song contest for schools and for musicians to work with schools to write their songs. Basel will be sharing teaching materials with schools to bring the Song Contest into the classroom.
