🇸🇪 #SWEDEN: SVT Play Introduces “Mellokväll” For Melodifestivalen 2025

SVT, the Swedish national broadcaster, have introduced a new viewing experience for Melodifestivalen 2025 – their national selection for the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest, in Basel.

SVT Play have introduced “Mellokväll” as an alternative viewing experience on Melodifestivalen evenings. The Mellokvällen Pre-Party, Parallel Mellokväll and After-Party are led by Torbjörn Averås Skorup who, together with his friends Assia Dahir, Eric Stern and Emilia Rehnberg, discusses, analyses and comments on the evening’s contributions and sets the mood. The Mello Night begins with a pre-party , followed by the new Parallel Mello Night , where viewers are invited to hang out with Torbjörn and the gang on their TV couch to comment and talk about the evening’s contributions. Torbjörn, who has extensive experience with Mello Nights, promises an evening filled with laughter and Mellowy.

SVT Play will also provide additional coverage. When the stage lights go out, the Afterparty takes over, where Charlotta Björck interviews the finalists and analyses the evening’s results together with her friends on the couch. As an extra bonus, viewers can listen to the entire songs competing on Friday for the first time. You can also sneak a peek at the rehearsals and get to know the artists a little better in the program in Artistdejten .
