
Here at Eurovision Ireland, we are taking a historical look back on our favourite Contests past and present, on the very day they took place. Today it’s December 8th:
Saturday 8th December 2007
On this day in 2007, the 5th edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest took place in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Armenia, Bulgaria, Georgia & Lithuania all debuted. Croatia & Spain withdrew. Belarus took victory with Alexey Zhigalkovich performing “S druz’yami” and 137 points.
