
Eurovision Ireland’s countdown to the 2024 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Madrid, continues today. This year, our countdown will look at the top Acts to ‘Bloom’ for the Participating Countries past and present, while we will also look at the top five Acts to ‘Bloom’ from all the previous Contests.
Today we are looking at this year’s participating country of Armenia. They have made the #Top3 a total of ten times so far. The ten Armenian Acts to ‘Bloom’ within the #Top3 were:
2007: Arevik, “Erazanq” (2nd place, 136 points)
2009: Luara Hayrapetyan, “Barcelona” (2nd place, 116 points)
2010: Vladimir Arzumanyan, “Mama” (1st place, 120 points)
2012: Compass Band, “Sweetie Baby” (3rd place, 98 points)
2014: Betty, “People of the Sun” (3rd place, 146 points)
2015: Mika, “Love” (2nd place, 176 points)
2016: Anahit & Mary, “Tarber” (2nd place, 232 points)
2021: Maléna, “Qami Qami” (1st place, 224 points)
2022: Nare, “Dance!” (2nd place, 180 points)
2023: Yan Girls, “Do It My Way” (3rd place, 180 points)
2024: Leo, “Cosmic Friend”
Can Leo take Armenia to another #Top3 position or even their third victory? We will find out on Saturday 16th November.
