
Eurovision Ireland’s countdown to the 2024 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Madrid, continues today. This year, our countdown will look at the top Acts to ‘Bloom’ for the Participating Countries past and present, while we will also look at the top five Acts to ‘Bloom’ from all the previous Contests.
Today we are looking at this year’s participating country of Georgia. They have made the #Top3 a total of six times so far. The six Georgian Acts to ‘Bloom’ within the #Top3 were:
2008: Bzikebi, “Bzz..” (1st place, 154 points)
2011: Candy, “Candy Music” (1st place, 108 points)
2012: The Funkids, “Funky Lemonade” (2nd place, 103 points)
2016: Mariam Mamadashvili, “Mzeo” (1st place, 239 points)
2017: Grigol Kipshidze, “Voice of the Heart” (2nd place, 185 points)
2022: Mariam Bigvava, “I Believe” (3rd place, 161 points)
2024: Andria Putkaradze, “To My Mom”
Can Andria Putkaradze take Georgia to another #Top3 position or even their fourth victory? We will find out on Saturday 16th November.
