SBS, the Australian national broadcaster, have confirmed participation at the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest, in Basel.

SBS have confirmed participation following an invitation to participate in the Contest, in Basel. SBS confirmed the news in Sydney, earlier today. 2025 will also mark 50 years since SBS was founded and 10 years since Australia participated in Eurovision for the first time. It is currently unclear how their representative for 2025 will be selected. Australia Decides, an open selection, was used in 2019, 2020 & 2022. For the remainder of their participation, SBS have used internal selections.
