Eurovision Ireland’s countdown to the 2024 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Madrid, continues today. This year, our countdown will look at the top Acts to ‘Bloom’ for the Participating Countries past and present, while we will also look at the top five Acts to ‘Bloom’ from all the previous Contests.
Today we are looking at this year’s participating country of Portugal. While they never made the #Top3 or the #Top5, the Portuguese have made the #Top10 a total of once so far. The one Portuguese Act to ‘Bloom’ within the #Top10 were:
2022: Nicolas Alves, “Anos 70” (8th place, 121 points)
2024: Víctoria Nicole, “Esperança”
Can Víctoria Nicole take Portugal to their first ever #Top3 position or even their first ever victory? We will find out on Saturday 16th November.
