Eurovision Ireland’s countdown to the 2024 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Madrid, continues today. This year, our countdown will look at the top Acts to ‘Bloom’ for the Participating Countries past and present, while we will also look at the top five Acts to ‘Bloom’ from all the previous Contests.

Today we are looking at the Hasselt Contest of 2005. The top five Acts to ‘Bloom’ at the Hasselt 2005 were:

Belarus, 1st: Ksenia Sitnik, “My vmeste” (149 points)

Spain, 2nd: Antonio José, “Te traigo flores” (146 points)

Norway, 3rd: Malin, “Sommer og skolefri” (123 points)

Denmark, 4th: Nicolai, “Shake Shake Shake” (121 points)

Romania, 5th: Alina Eremia, “Țurai!” (89 points)
