
The EBU, the European Broadcasting Union, have revealed a revision to the online voting before 2024 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Madrid.
The EBU have revealed that the online voting will open on Friday 15th November at 21:00 CET, closing at 17:59 CET on Saturday 16th November – one minute before the Contest commences. Therefore the Pre-Contest voting period will last just 21 hours, compared to the 44 hours when the Contest was held on a Sunday afternoon. Online voting will commence for a further fifteen minutes, once the final song has been performed.
