Česká televize, the Czech national broadcaster, have confirmed participation at the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest, in Basel.

Song submissions are now open for interested acts, with the initial deadline set for Monday 30th September. In 2024, the rules were updated, adding that the lead singer / main vocalist of the composition is no longer required to hold Czech citizenship, however nationality requirements for 2025 have not been specified.

The submission form also lists Česká televize reserves the right to cancel the whole selection process if the broadcaster does not take part in the 2025 contest. The submission form also does not state how the Czech entry will be selected – ESCZ was used during 2018-2020 and 2022-2024.
